We purchased our first good bicycles a few months before we were married and cycling has remained an important part of our lives ever since. The idea of a bicycle touring business took shape during our wonderful journeys through places like Utah, the Cascades and the Loire Valley in France.  We wanted to share those very special types of experiences with others. But every time we ride we are reminded that travel by bicycle is a special thing no matter the destination. So we wanted to form a company that, over time, would create many types of bicycle rides for all types of cyclists.

The Bridges & Vines Bicycle Tour was our launchpad.

We founded the highly successful Bridges & Vines Bicycle Tour in the Grand River Valley wine region of Ohio in 2013 and have been at the helm of the event ever since.  Randy has extensive experience creating and leading outdoor adventure programs and we have organized numerous bicycle events.  The success of the Bridges & Vines event convinced us that the time was right to form our new enterprise...The ROAD AHEAD Bicycle Tours.
