  • Water bottle or hydration pack.

  • Our signed waiver

Good To Have But Not Required

  • Head light and tail light

  • Bike pump and standard tools

  • Rear view mirror

  • Bike bag for tools and clothing layers

  • Lock

Clothing Choices Can Make A Difference In Your Comfort

  • Bicycle shorts, jerseys and cycling shoes can increase your comfort...but if you don't have them know that you don't need bicycle specific clothing to ride a bicycle.  Shorts or pants should be loose or stretchy to make pedaling easier.  Shirts made of fast drying fabric are nice but cotton is OK too.  Running shoes are perfectly fine.  We do recommend a brightly colored shirt to increase your visibility.

  • Be aware of the forecast and choose clothing accordingly.  If the temperature will change throughout the day then have some layering options.

  • Bike gloves can keep your hands from going numb

  • A lightweight windbreaker or breathable raincoat is nice if the temperature drops.

  • A rain coat and rain pants will be appreciated when needed - again...know the temperature and precipitation forecast before setting out.
